In my belief, there is only one Deity. But you can compare Deity to a diamond in that there are many different facets. The gods and goddesses of every pantheon, the Christian God, the Jewish G-d, Islam's Allah are all facets of the Universal Deity. The names we use are only there to help us identify with Deity. I use the names God, Goddess and a few names that I identify with depending on the reason I am praying to or speaking of Deity.

Well there is only one God and Goddess. They are all the same person but every religion calles then by different names. Don't matter what you call them your all talken to the same person just with a different name, custom, faith.
If you really want to know your religion go to
www. sacredtext.com .
They have just about every religion there is out there. And every one talkes about the same thing but worded different. I have studied Religion for over 28 yrs. And I am still learning new things that tie all religions together. There is no one true religion they are all tied into each other. Its is how Man looks at it and intrupets it into his likeing,
Why do you think there are 2 different kinds of bibles. The Catholic and Prodestent churches each bible is different. And still not either of them have all the books in it from the orginal bible.

The Goddess is the Great Lady, she is the female spirit and many cultures and mythologies call her by different names such as Hectate, Isis, Diana, or Bridgit. The represent the maiden, the mother and the wise woman.
The God is the Great Lord, he is the male spirit and also goes by different names, such as Zeuz, or Osiris.
He is the hunter, the father, and the sage.
The Goddess and God are the two spirits that created the universe.....the female and male energy that is ALL.

I'm an atheist, but if I had to pick one from each "mythology" (which I think is rediculous to label them as), it would probably be Hephaestus for Greece, Set for Egyptians, and then a tie between Loki and Thor for Norse. Hinduism, I guess Shiva and Brahma.

I choose to call upon whomever is most appropriate for the spell I am working, but I most often call upon Diana during the full moon to build power.

I don't give them particular names. I guess if I had to I'd use The Bright Lady and her Lord.
