Hell to tha No.....You can buy a way less expensive pair of jeans and look just as nice as someone wearing an $160 pair. And besides most of the time the only way you can tell the differance is if you look at the tag on the inside of the pants

no I wouldn't spend more than $20 on jeans, but then I'm not an insecure teenager who needs to be accepted by his peers.
I wear jeans that look rather old fashioned, but I don't give a d*mn what people think of my jeans. I dress up properly when the occasion calls for looking professional, other than that, I wear whatever the hell I feel comfortable with.

You can soak them in heavily diluted bleach, then take some sand paper when they're dry and sand specific areas to make them look distressed. Buy the prewashed type of jeans, the "shrink to fit" nonsense will shrink to much. The manufacturers of this very popular style of jean achieve this texture and look by washing or rinsing them with sand infused water, however this next to impossible to do at home, unless you want to ruin your washing machine. I've seen jeans like these sell for $70.00 and up in departments stores. Ridiculous. Why people pay this kind of money for jeans that look used is beyond me. These jeans cost about $10.00 to make if that.

Hell yes. If you have the money to spend then why not buy something you like. I wear anything that I like and look nice in. No matter if it's $1 to $1000. If I like it and I have the money then I get it. That's just me. And I like nice things (name brands).

no because i wud rather buy a bunch of decent brand clothes than have a very few expensive pieces...like wal maart clothes or something..i buy brands mostly old navy and tommy but only if its on sale or at a thrift shop i think spending that much on one piece is ridiculous when u cud take that money and buy about 10 pieces if u shop wisely!

Depends if I could afford them and if they looked really good and were comfortable.
I wear 7 for all Mankind jeans they are a little pricey but fit really well.

$160? hell I remember I could buy 16 pairs of Levi's, Lee's or Wrangler's for that! Still wear em but they did raise the price!
