yes sport is always good and it helps in both inc your metabolism and directly burning calories
but it is useless if you dont wantch the calories you take and the type of food you eat
if you want a personal advice i will recomend walking with a higher than normal speed (not jogging) coz it makes you move ur thighs and stomach even more than running if you can imagin what i mean its called the speedy walk
i recommend speedy walk for 60 minutes ( at the begging if you couldnt there is no problem try the best u can and ur time will get better by time) 5 times a weak and dont forget that watching your diet drinking allot of water and taking more fibers minerals and vitamins (espitially vitamine c) is very important for losing weight and maintaing a good one

Yes, definitely! I once lost over 30 lbs doing nothing more than walking about a mile and a half after work every night. The key is not to dawdle, you have to walk at a good brisk pace so that you elevate your heart rate for at least 30 minutes. Then after you have been walking at a good brisk pace regularly for a month or so, you can try slowly starting to run again.... walk 10 minutes, run 2 minutes, walk 10 minutes, run 2 minutes, very slowly and gradually increasing your running time.
You will probably lose weight and build endurance faster if you also do a little light weight-lifting and/or Pilates to help you tone up and increase your muscle mass (which increases your metabolism) at the same time... but just walking is better than nothing at all.

yes you can lose a little weight by walking, but not much.
It is good to walk though and it will help you lose some weight. Once u feel more comfortable start to brisk walk, and then if u r feeling up to it, start jogging. Go to a gym and use a treadmill. You feel better exercising where there are more people. Also work out with some friends so u wont feel lonely.

well walk for a while then run your 2mins walk for another 5-7 mins. then run again keep this alternating run walk for about 30-1hr every day until you are at the point of increasing you running to what you used to walk soon you'll be running the whole way.
Can't target just your tummy and thighs will cause you to lose weight in general but will definitely tone your legs. Remember to get a good support bra.
In two to three months should see great improvements if you are consistent

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.
I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.
Get started today!

Absolutely you can. It's not the fastest way, but kind and safe, and certain to burn calories and raise your metabolism. Try to gradually and slowly make it more challenging in any or all of these ways: increase your walking time, increase your pace, try hilly not flat terrain, wear weights (later) on your wrists. By the way, you really can't chose where you lose the weight, but keep at this 4 or 5 times a week, at least 20 minutes each time, and the stomach and thinghs will shrink. Of course, watch your diet, sweets and carbs especially. Enjoy the baby!

ya, definitely. Haven't you heard of the guy from subway, all he did was eat 2 subs a day and walked everywhere instead of taking the bus. He lost 250 pounds in less than a year walking about 1.5 miles per day.
If you are really serious about your weight than you can count your calories during the day and only eat low fat foods and diet drinks. I stick with a 2500-2800 calories a day, 75 grams of fat (Im a male and 18 so your daily intake will be different than mine) and I try to keep active and join clubs and sports. And try not to eat 2 hours before bed cause it will turn into fat. So ya, hope it helps.

It is not how far or long you walk it is how long you keep your heart rate up for an extended period of time. You need to keep your heart rate up for at least 30 -45mins to burn fat calories. You might only get in 1-2 miles in that time but it should be at least 3 x a week ideally 5-6 times. As you get use to the ex. you can increase either the time or try to pick up the pace and go for mileage in the same amount of time. You will not notice weight loss until you are done buidling up your muscles first. You will notice that yur body will fit and look better in your clothes before you probably notice the scale to move down. And try not eating after 8pm.
