i was suppose to pick up my clothes at my x and she hasnt pick up her phone or return my calls i left 2 messages. i told her that i will pick it up def tomorrow
why is she doing this???????
what should i do or say?? i dont want to do anything stupid

i spoke to her 3 days ago regarding the situationn she sounded fine about the whole situation and was even trying to continue convo that i wasnt interested in hearing. that girl is so crazy lol

she is trying to "hold on to you". Have a friend call her or go over there with a friend.

Well, first you have to be really careful in this type of situation. Because anxieties are high. First of all you are entitle to all your personal clothing and items. You can continue to ignore your request but that doesn't mean you can't get your stuff. I would try to call her again. If she is still not answering, you can always get the police involve. And also, it might just be a good ideal to call the police or have a friend go with you. So no harm will come to you or your stuff. In the event that she has destroyed you items, she owes you the value of them. Good luck.

She's probably trying to either 1, keep your clothes as a way to hold onto you, or 2, keep them so you can't have them to get back at you for something.
Either way they are your belongings and you "may" deserve them back. If you did something to hurt her, I would have personally burned them or threw them out the window into the mud. But if you just want your things back you can either 1, call the police and file a charge of theft or 2, just skip it and buy new clothes and avoid the hassle.

My best guess is that she is feeling one of two ways. one - she doesn't want you to pick the stuff up because she doesn't want the relationship to be over or two - she just doesn't want to see or talk to you. Just leave her a message and ask that she put the things outside on a certain day and time and you will be around to collect them. If she still doesn't give you the stuff maybe a mutual friend could give you a hand.

She's being passive-aggressive. She is probably mad at you, still in love with you, or something of the sort, and wants to get your attention, either by making you mad, or making you beg.
If I were you, I would not act upon what she's doing because that's what she wants. If you can wait for the clothes, wait it out, if you can't, don't let her know that! You'll give her ammunition! Act like you don't have patience or time for her behavior, without anger. Ignore her infantile behavior, it will come back at her ten fold.

Okay...first of all, who broke up with whom? That could be the important queestion. Did you do something to really mess up, just an overall asinine thing to do? If so, write off you clothes bud. Is it the other way around...did she do something so heinous that you dumped her? Again...write your clothes off. Or...was it just some mutual undertanding parting of the ways? And it was a recent break up? She could still be hurting and can't see you right now...just some things to think about.

She wants to put it off because she is hoping you will change your mind or she will think of some way to save the relationship. She knows once you pick your stuff up there is no reason for you to come back there again.

Mayb she holds on to the clothes cause she wants to keep them with her to remember u. I think u should go over there with someone and demand for ur clothes dude

I would guess she is upset? Next message tell her that if she doesn't return your call you are going to have a police escort to her work (or wherever she's at) to allow you to get your stuff. I'm sure she will return your call to avoid the embarrassment.

Theres no way she still wants to see you, coz if she did... she would pick up ur calls or tell you to go pick them up... shes through with you... i dont know who broke up with who.. but she doesnt want to see you. Plus... she might have thrown ur clothes on the free way heheeee

Ask her to pack your things in a box and leave it up front or something. If she needs a box - provide it for her. You dont have to meet with her if thats what she is trying to avoid.
