Maybe to other men, but to women.... or at least women like me... it's damn hot! I love getting help in the kitchen!

Not at all. All of the Master Chefs in the world are men. Personally I love to cook and get nothing but praise from the opposite sex. Think of they way BBQ is usually seen as mans territory, isn't that cooking? A way to a woman's heart is through her stomach (joking of course).

Now if you're prancing around in a pink apron wearing slippers while cooking I could see how that might be seen as a little less than masculine.

It is better that people (men and women) cook period. By cooking your own food you save money, eat better and don't consume no where near as much processed chemicals.

One of the first things I do when I start dating someone is cook them dinner.

No, cooking is a great joy and if you like it, then its great! Every man cooks, regardless of if its BBQ (aka manly food-meat) to a nice dish like Salmon. Not to mention cooking is an art and requires some skill. Not a lot men or women have that ability, my sister for example even if I give her a recipe telling her what to do step by step, she can still screw it up. So be happy that you can cook and enjoy cooking. Also, it always will be a perk if you are seeing a woman, because women appreciate a man who can cook. Also, cooking can be fun with a significant other. So its definitely gots its perks!

The best chefs in the world are men, and they are no less masculine than the next guy!!

If you want to cook you go ahead and cook. There is no bigger turn on for a woman than a man who has taken the time and effort to prepare a delicious meal for her using his bare hands and knowledge!!

Wouldn't it be considered masculine to be able to take care of yourself and others? Aren't men supposed to be providers?
If you answered yes to either or both questions then wouldn't it follow that a more masculine male would be able, or like to cook?
All people need to eat to survive. If a man cooks and provides food, what could be more masculine than that?

No cooking is a great thing for a guy to do. Why do you think that a lot of the world's best chefs are men? I mean grilling is a man thing to do and that is cooking. So no, cooking is not feminine at all. I love to cook.

By all means, no.

A guy who cooks does not make him any less of a man. In fact, demonstrates that one is self suffient, independent, and so forth. I not sure where you got the idea that cooking lessons a mans image. In fact, its quite the contrary. There are many men who are professional cooks and chef who are considered masucline.
Bottom line, the answers in no, it does not make a man less masucline.

Secondly, women love it when you cook for them.

I don't think so. It is kinda cool actually. I have a guy friend that actually graduated cooking college, and I don't think he is less masculine because that is what he loves to do.

Cook up a storm.
