Sometimes you can try really hard to lose weight. You can diet and exercise and you won't lose anything but keep doing what you are doing. One of these days, you will go on the scale and all of a sudden, the weight just dropped. Thats what happened to me. I started working out and nothing. I kept doing it though. Then all of a sudden, bam, I started losing weight and each time I went on the scale, the numbers started going lower. It takes time. Its not something that will just happen really quick. You have to be patient and you have to keep it up and not give up. Remember also, muscle weighs more than fat.

First, it is mostly not your fault. You need to re-learn everything that this society has taught you about eating food. It has not just hurt you. It has made (according to Atlantic Monthly magazine) obesity the # 1 health problem in the world, replacing hunger and infectious disease. So this keeps getting worse, not better. So you are a victim of this PANDEMIC (epidemic).

So if you want to continue being a victim then just keep doing what you are doing. If not, then take the time and make the investment in yourself to learn everything on the website below. You need to re-learn how to eat. Do this and you will get thin and healthier. Do this not and you will continue with whatever you have now.

You need to learn about getting rid of bodyfat, retained water and something else that gives you a bigger tummy only. It does not make you fatter anywhere else. why cant you lose weight? probably because your doing the wrong things. you need to decrease your calorie intake, increase your calorie expenditure, drink 64 oz of water daily, and add a beginners weight routine to your workout plan. you also need some type of LASTING motivation factor in your life that will last longer than 3 months which is the typical time frame people give up their "diets" after. mine was joining an online support weight loss forum. treat yourself to something new after you reach each 5 pound loss.

I am a 250lbs. plus, plus, size woman and recently I have began eating all healthy foods and excercising and feeling great. Which I was suppose to do way back when I was only 200lbs and now years later and 50lbs heavier, I finally have a made up mind to do something about it. So, the advice that I can offer is to have a real made up mind because you then do whatever it takes to lead a more healthy life. I wish you the best of blessings in your journey.

Exercise is the key, try a 15 min walk every day along with healthy eating. Cut out all the junk like crisps.

I had the same problem not being able to lose weight but i joined weight watchers and it worked when nothing else did.
