I am 22 years old and I still use those pink spongy rollers when I go to bed at night. That gives a tight curl if you want a lose curl use Velcro rollers that they sell at the beauty supply. You can buy them in a bunch of different sizes and they add great curl. Make sure you use hair spray and a blow dryer.

There are several ways in which you may achieve curls without an iron, one being, if you don't have much time, you may use fast drying mousse, taking a section of hair at a time, apply the mousse lightly on that section, use your fingers to roll the hair up in a barrel fashion, bobby pin hair into place, continue this method until all the hair you wish to curl is up, allow at least 10-15min to dry,(maybe you could get dressed, and apply your makeup during drying time) take curls down, if dry, and style as desired. You will have beautiful, shiny, bouncy curls. Other ways are to use steam rollers, scrunch your hair with a diffuser, or you may use a permanent wave if your hair is not relaxed. Good luck!

There are many different ways.....you can use the sponge rollers, which you can sleep in, but leave your hair very very curly and kinky....I have found that hot rollers work the best, doesn not take as long as a curling iron, but on the other hand, I have thin hair and live in a humid city, so most of the time, I have straight hair.

well there are a couple of different ways depending on your hair type if your hair is average try these:
~ scrunch it= take your wet newly washed hair and apply a gel evenly then get a pump hairspray and sray it evenly then take a aol thin tshirt and scruch it upside while blowing it out with your hairdryer every so ofteh stop and shake t out ...you can use a towel to but i found that the thinner the material the more curly it gets and i have like almost straight hair
~ WHEN YOUR HAIR IS TOWEL DRIED PUT A GEL AND A volumizer in it and then take sections of your hair(depending on how big you want your curls) and brush it and wrap it around your fingers and then either body pin them or use a pin curl clip and clip them close to your scalp and let them set and use a blowdryer on low to speed it up finish it with spray
~ then you can use rollers
any other questions email me i love hair and love doin it

If you do a wet set, it comes out really nice.
You have to leave your hair wet, then apply some type of setting lotion, maybe mousse (I never use it, sorry) and then put your hair in rollers. If you have a blow dryer, use it (a hooded blow dryer works best) but if we're a bit low on cash flow (trust me, i understand) a little sunlight and some time works fine...sit outside long enough and your hair'll dry.
Finish it off with a little hair spray, and you're good to go. My hair is really fussy, and that works for me, even during the humid Virginia summertimes. Hope your curls turn out beautiful! (or whoever elses, lol)

Use a light hair mousse while hair is damp... {make sure hair has just been shampooed and conditioned well! For added softness add baby oil to the tips of damp hair} Toss hair up-side down and scrunch w/hands while using a hair diffuser on the end of your blow dryer {put blow dryer on low 2 medium setting} hot air will give you tighter wet looking curls. Cool air will give you a more softer looking curl. ... Also use a mist type hair spray while scrunching and defuse drying.

the easiest way is to put your damp hair into braids at night and sleep on it. by the time you wake up you will have perfect waves. i actually like doing this better than using a curling iron because i think they look better and more natural. just undo the braids in the morning, fluff your hair up a bit and use a tiny bit of hair spray. the best part is your hair will hold the wave until you wash it again.

BEST NO HEAT CURLS EVER: Wash hair, finger part* into like 6-8 sections (depending on hair thickness and curl size desired), gel or mousse section and twist until it coils into a little bun and secure w/ hair tie or bobby pin. leave till dry (works great overnight) take down each section and separate VIOLA! lovely romantic curls
(ive done this to my caucasian friend who has VERY, VERY thick, stick straight hair and curls lasted all day, she does this all the time now cause it also makes her hair super soft)
*finger parts make sections less obvious when hair is taken down it is also very pretty to twist going in the same direction on each section to have curls all going the same way (like in the pantene commercials)

Depends on how straight your hair is. If it's pencil straight, you need to go for curlers. If it's wavy, you can bring out all its curl by scrunch-drying it. Let it half-dry naturally, then comb in a dollop of mousse, tip your head upside down and dry with a diffuser dryer, scrunching handfuls of hair all over your head. When it's dry, let it cool down, run your fingers through it and fix it with a light spray.
