Hey you took my suggestion! LoL...
anyway... salad_85 is wrong already... "unintended mistake"... don't the teachings tell us God is infallible (meaning NO MISTAKES... intentional and unintentional included)? Also mentioned evolving... a thing Believers are supposedly to DENY?
anyway- I think it is a dominate trait just a joke She likes to play on us humans. A sixth finger, one wouldn't know what to do with it... I know 2 full blooded Cherokee's who have had this... one got it removed, the other has kept his second thumb. (His 6th finger grew out of his thumb- weird looking). He can't really use it at all. But he will not remove it, because it was something he was born with.
Once again one of God's cruel jokes to play on human kind.
Life is Cruel and Unfair... God is Cruel and Unfair.

Its an unintended mistake. A chance that evolved.
God created the world and the world is cut off from God. In Christianity this is by our wrongdoing and the difference it made ot our "spiritual mechanics" when, although the existence of Eden is disputed and whether God meant it as a tool by which to undertstand something huge, the message and symbolism is the same. Adam and Eve took something they could never return. This was the knowledge of the difference between good and evil symbolised in an apple. Hence, given any kind of moral rightness which God has to act by, the freedom to make our own choices follows but however that ALWAYS, even in J.S. Mill or any of the great liberal philosophers, comes with taking the conseqences .
He dosent run it the way he would want, with all disability and random genetic disorders gone (Im dyslexic) and all harmful and generally self defensive traits in nature gone, as im sure you can see. Nature has had to co exist with God rather than be cared for BY God as a result of the most superior beings in creation becoming corrupt and nature and humans being disconnected intrinsically from Gods Holy kingdom. We know what is good but will never be perfect and will hurt others, and it's our separation from God that makes us so.
Christians are not claimed to be perfect, only Jesus managed to do that being Jesus, but we can trust in him to connect us to God and remove our sin once and for all. Time after time we do wrong but that dosent mean we can't go back to God. If we make the genuine effort thats what counts and is all that can ever count becuase we are not perfect people. Hope that helps!

If 6 fingers was a dominant trait, most people in the world, IE the vast majority would have 6 fingers. I know of only 1 person with 6 fingers and 2 people with 6 toes, definitely not a majority.

First of all, dont refer to God as "that" or "chick", cause He is neither. He is the Supreme Being. He is the most high, Alpha and Omega. And dont question His works. He has a reason for everything. And if you want to know why you have six fingers, ask Him yourself. Dont ask us. And dont be mad at God. Wouldnt you rather have six fingers than none?
