Don't know the rate, but I do know that it has the highest suicide rate in the nation. They attribute this to the dismal weather... gray and drizzly more days out of the year than anywhere else!

I know that suicide ranks # 11 in deaths in America and Seattle is in th top ten

I think I heard it is up their because of all the rain. I also heard that the leading profession for suicide is Dentist???? Why is that?

I don't know, but I know Tacoma is beautiful and I would for sure be happy there!!!!!! Mt Rainier is gorgeous, so are the men at Fort Lewis!!!! :)
