There is a hair care line call Swimmers from Malibu and they have a set that has everything you need, shampoo conditioner and chlorine remover that is a powder that you mix with water and becomes gel like , put it on rinse and it should be fine after that. You might have to do it every week along with the shampoo and conditioner. Buy it at your salon or ask your stylist to get you the kit , is a professional product.Thay should cost around $20-$30 but they are good 8oz enough for summer.

This may sound strange but... The best way to rid yourself of "swimmers hair" is to dissolve 5 aspirin in a cup of white vinegar. Let sit for 5 minutes and rinse. The green will disappear immediately! I am an active swimmer with blond locks and this works for me :)

You can also grind up the aspirin and put it in your normal shampoo.

I dont really know about taking the green out, but if you want to prevent it for next time, a stylist once told me to soak my hair (just get it wet) in normal tap water just before I got in the pool. I havent tried it, but it had worked for her. Hope it helps!

Your best bet is to pick up a clarifying shampoo. I'd suggest a professional shampoo available in salon's only.

Try Rusk's Clarifying Shampoo or Matrix's Alternate Action Shampoo.

At Sally's Beauty Supply they sell a product called "chlorine out" or something comparable, just follow manufacturers advice on how to apply it , and your hair will be greenfree:) . Good luck!
