It depends if he likes you or not. If he does, then technically age wont matter (unless you are under the age of consent - then, if he has any decency at all, he wont go out with you until you are old enough). If he doesn't like you, it wouldn't matter if you were the same age as him - it just wont happen.

it really depends on the person. if your his type and he likes you a lot then it will definally work no matter what age you are. just hangout with him first in a subtle way
