There are tell tale signs, for those that don't believe he will come literally on a cloud. A lot has happened in this century...and there are signs.

The whole idea behind 'the signs of the times' is that the body of Christ be ready for His second coming. Whether it takes one day or two thousand years, it does not matter. We are to be ready when He does come.

People have been saying this for two thousand years. We have writings from the 2nd century of those who were confident of the impending Second Coming. Didn't happen in that life time, won't happen in this.
Interpreting signs is what tarot card readers, astrologers, and augers do and have done for millennia. It's hype and meaningless hype.
Who is qualified to interpret these signs?
Too many Hollywood movies have hyped people up.

I am a Baha'i and we do believe that Jesus has already returned in spirit in Baha'u'llah, the founder of the Baha'i Faith. There are lots of signs in the Bible regarding the time, the place and the way Jesus will return. They all describe the context of the coming of Baha'u'llah, as a Messanger of God for out time. If you are interested there are many books describing in detail these signs and conections. One of them is Thief in the Night by William Sears.

The bible states that no man knows the day or hour of his coming but you are right in the fact that many of the events written about that prelude his coming have already happened or are happening now. So yeah be ready I guess cause we are close imo
