I'm looking for someone to take her and give her a home. The only reason we can't keep her is because her owner my grandmother is in and out of the hospital and there's noone to look over her. If there's anyone interested please get back to me.

put up signs at your local grocery home or closet vet clinic
that way, you are meeting the new owners & get to feel them out as you don;t want to give her to a complete stranger as you just don;t know what they will do to her..

good luck

Yes, letting us know where you are would be a big help! Also, before you consider taking her to a local shelter, please inquire carefully about their policy as to screening animals. I had a friend take her 2 cats to the shelter because of personal issues and called back a couple weeks later thinking she might adopt them back if no one had taken them home. She learned they were both put to sleep because they didn't meet screening requirements - one didn't like to use their type of litter and the other was being picky about the food. Not unexpected for cats in a strange place, but they were both put to sleep BEFORE ever being offered for adoption!

I LOVE cats soooo much and would love to take her for you, but my parents won't let me get another cat. You could put an ad on petfinder.com or an ad in the paper, but make sure the people you give her to are going to take good care of her before you give her away. I would personally not put her in a shelter because I have never heard of one that take top care of their animals. Most of them either put them to sleep after a certain period of time if no one wants them(it's normally a very SHORT period of time) or they put them to sleep for not passing silly tests like mentioned above. Oh I would so love to take her for you and I'm so sorry I can't. I love cats!
