i am frm India, from the state of Tamilnadu were tamil is spoken. I see here many people learn french and japanese ...which were taught at certificate levels but spanish its very rarely taught..i would be happy if any one can help me to learn me spanish..it would help me a bit to learn a forgine language which i always desired for.

I suggest you learn Japanese also. The language is surprisingly similar to Spanish.

You need to learn how to speak and not just write the language. Order a book/audio package online.

Finally, you need somebody to practice with.

It's pretty easy to pick up as long as you're willing to practice. Try http://www.studyspanish.com/freesite.htm for a lot of verbs and vocab.
