When you get together for better or worse, you have to remembe that worst often comes first. My husband and I went through all kinds of worse - and instead of saying, "we'll laugh about this some day," we laughed about it as it was happening. Laughter is important, so is communication. Don't hold a resentment - bring it out in the open and deal with it. Cut each other some slack - everyone has bad days. Keep saying "I love you" even when you don't like your partner very much. We use little notes and cards (G is away on business about 20 days a month) and call each other often just to say, "Hi, how are you?" We've had only one fight - which lasted 20 minutes and then we were both apologizing and laughing.
In summary? Communicate, laugh, be honest, and don't hold grudges.

The key to succes in any realationship is trust and respect...If thats not coming from both sides then the relationship isnt really working...Honesty is also a key in a realationship...If you say i love you and there is not a single emotion after it then maybe that person isnt right for you...I am asuming you are a girl and i think that i hate about some girls is that they always regret saying yes to guys who they really dont wanna be with...That falls into the honesty catagory...Respect is also good...If all he ever does is say i wanna get together and he only talks when he is "happy" then thats disrespectful... He should love you for who you are and not how good u are.

In every healthy relationship you have to have these four things; trust, honesty, understanding, and patience. Trust has to be a two way street. If there is no trust, there maybe lots of fighting. You must always be honest no matter what. You have to have an understanding to know what your partner is going through. And you must have patience.
