Books and people say that if your cat has a dry and warm nose, that means your cat is sick, right? Well, I felt my kitty's nose and it was dry and warm so I think he's sick but he looks normal. He doesn't sneeze or anything and he just looks perfectly fine.

But sometimes he has a moist nose but maybe it was because he made it wet when he was drinking..not sure though.

Sammy has been eating fine, grooming himself fine--like not grooming in the same spot over and over again which isn't good, drinking fine, and everything else. He acts normal like he's not even sick.

And YES, I ALWAYS KNEW THAT I WAS SUPPOSED TO GO TO THE VET! I was just making sure if he was sick or not before I pay like 45 dollars just to do a check up at the vet.

my cats noses are wet sometimes, dry sometimes, cold sometimes, warm sometimes. I have a cat that sleeps under the covers so he is always warm. Usually you can tell when somethings wrong when they do things out of habit. Like not eatting, drinking water, not using the dropping box. Another thing I noticed is that they seclude themselves from the others in the home, and they feel abnormally warm and there nose and the insides of there ears are a vastly pale white. But since cats do everything in the same routine everyday, usually when they are sick, they do not follow routine, or they break certain habits. hope this helps

Usually it's if dogs have dry noses they are sick. I don't know who made it up about cats because my cat always has dry noses, and it's wet when she drinks too. I alsoo think my cat is just fine. You might want to ask a vet though.

The nose isn't going to say too much. Watch for other signs and if he exhibits them, go to the vet. If you aren't sure, call your vet and ask them. . .

He could be sick, cats can take lots of pain and misery and show little to no symptoms

maybe you should take him to the vet because sometimes it can mean that they are sick, but not all of the time.

Sammy is fine. When he's sick, you'll know it. He will be vomiting or diarrhea or very listless. They get a really sick look about them. Believe me, you'll know.
