According to Islam, this concept represents a time, near to Doomsday, when Qur’anic morality will come to prevail over all the world. The Prophet Mohammed, peace be upon him, has described it in considerable detail in the hadeeths, that is, his sayings. After the Prophet, a number of great Islamic scholars have given further accounts of the subject. All of these reveal that the end times will contain a number of consecutive events.
In the first stage of the end times, the world will become degenerate because of a number of philosophical systems that deny God. Mankind will move away from the purpose behind its creation, leading to a terrible spiritual emptiness and moral collapse. In the wake of great disasters, wars and suffering, mankind will seek the answer to just one question ‘Where does salvation lie?’

According to Christianity, salvation is found in no-one other than Jesus Christ, for there is no other name given to men by which we must be saved. (Acts of the Apostles 4:12)

I know Islam honours Jesus as a prophet, but we really have to take him on his own terms: he said "I am the way and the truth and the life", and on various occasions used the "I am" of the divine name - which was taken as such by the hearers because they tried to stone him for blasphemy.

Can see you're a serious thinker - really hope you find what you're looking for.

That's a profound statement...
"Mankind will move away from the purpose behind its creation"
It appears you have copy/pasted from
http://www.harunyahya.com/c_wisdom_quran.php
I watched some of the videos from that site, and they all use a very devious tactic to promote Islam. They present a scientific documentary, and at the end, they flash a verse from the Qur'an which has NOTHING to do with the science topic.
It would be like someone saying...
"The sun fuses hydrogen into helium at it's core to produce it's energy, and oh by the way, Jesus is not the Son of God."

There is another very interesting point in the passage you plagerized....
"Qur’anic morality will come to prevail over all the world" "near to Doomsday".
When Islam is the norm, and everyone is FORCED to live their life according to a book written 1400 years ago, liberty will be truly dead, and each person's purpose will be overshadowed by the will of dictators.
Do you want the whole world to be ruled by people such as the Taliban? I hope not!

Peace for ALL!

In your own hands. We each have the power to change and create our own destiny. The problem about that is you must be open. Not many do that. They stick to one thing and go through-out their whole life with being just partialy seeing the truth, either distorted or not. Then they make it their own world. This is the problem about religion in this day of age. They have become hard-hearted. This is what death is. They do not realize that they have already killed themselves. And if you want, you can believe in Jesus Christ or anyone in that manner, but my advice is stop giving someone else your responsibilites. It is your life. You live it and you take care of it and YOU are the only one that should take responsibility, not some other being. If you do not take responsibility, then you are lazy. God is everywhere, not just in a book. Truth is everywhere. It lies in the trees, in a thought someone has wrote down, and most of all, it is strong in each heart on this Earth. Find that truth and you will find Salvation. And if you do not, don't worry. Don't condemn youself. When you condemn, you kill yourself more. Do not worry, for life will always go on. I hope this answers your question.
