Who should come first in a merrital relationship? Should a woman put her kids above all others? Or should a woman put her husband above all others? Is there a chain of commmand that should be fallowed or can a woman pick and chose who she puts first?

Husband first. Definately.
The parents should always work as a team- if the team breaks down, the whole system malfunctions.

The person you married is an adult who can look after themselves, so it has to be kids because they rely on you as a parent to bring them up and care for and love them until they are old enough to take responsibility for themselves.
There is no chain of command, unless you are still living in the dark ages. Of course a woman can choose who she puts first. But if she is a mother, then her kids should and probably will always come first.

Are you serious? This is a joke right? Of course kids should come first!
If there is a fire in the house, should the wife make sure her husband makes it out alive first before worrying about the kids?
Children are the ultimate expression of marital love. Husbands and wives should be working together for the benefit of the children, not ranking who is most important in their lives! Children look to both their parents for guidance in their lives.
Seriously, use some common sense!

It should always be kids first no matter if its woman or man putting them first. Even in new relationships when there are kids involved, the person, (man or woman) comes as a complete package and should not be made to choose between their new love or the kids

That is a hard one for a mom...we love our children very much!!
With that said, the very best thing we can give our children is a happy, secure home. That means that we have to remember we and our husband are one...after the children are gone, it will be back to husband/wife. However, hopefully a wife should never have to choose between her husband and children. If the children are causing a division of some sort, the parents need to get together and make sure they have a united front. Never let the children 'divide and conquere.'

It depends. I think if the man is the children's dad, they should be equal, but if the kids are small and from a previous marriage, the kids should come first until they are grown.
