I have FOREVER hated BBQ sauce and anything with a BBQ flavor, when I got pregnant with my first (son) I was like BRING ON THE LITTLE SMOKIES! and the BBQ Meatballs and BBQ Sandwiches and anything else that had a remote BBQ Flavor. After I had him the smell of BBQ Sauce literally made me sick!

With the little man I am carrying, I have had barely any cravings, except an occasional Banana split, the one thing I do eat now is candy, I hate candy normally but now I love skittles and resess fast breaks. Weird how it works huh?

Hahaha! You are too funny! Women can crave all kinds of things. For me it was Tomato soup with so many crackers I could have used it to sculpt! Also Chocolate pudding! um!
I even craved sulfer. Like when you light a match & blow it out. The burnt part of it.
The truth is women can crave some really strange things. It is normal. Just don't ingest anything harmful. Some women have even craved dirt! It is no wonder men can't figure us out when half the time we don't even know what is going on with ourselves! Just remember moderation! You are eating for you & your baby, that is not an "okay" to over do it or to go crazy - also watch your nutrition. We want our babies born healthy! But as a rule, we only need about 600 more calories than normal when we are pregnant. Unless our Dr tells us otherwise. Just use your head. Be sure to get your calcium & your iron. They are very important when you are pregnant.

In my first trimester, I craved pickles. They had to be Claussen too, not Vlassic. I even drank the juice (gross, now it is LOL). Second trimester, hot fudge ice cream sundaes, fried potatoes & green beans. The green beans had to be flavored with garlic powder & onions. Third trimester, combo burritos from Del Taco. The red sauce gave me heartburn so I'd have them leave it off. I ate chinese food the whole pregnancy & it was just 3 years ago before I could eat it again (my son will be 10 in Nov). My son won't eat chinese food now either. The weirdest thing I did was order carmel sundaes & fries from McDonald's & dip the fries in the sundae. I still eat both but not like that anymore.

I ate applesauce like crazy, it tasted better than anything else I ate while I was pregnant!! I also drank about a gallon of apple juice a week, although red Gatorade was a life saver during the first four months when nothing would stay down. I ate a bunch of watermelon, too.

I don't think I had any aversions to food, not that I can remember, anyway.

When I was pregnant with my first baby, I craved Pizza Hot Pockets like nobody's business! I also craved strawberries with sugar, and steak. I love sauteed onions, but when I was pregnant with him, the smell of them made me gag. I couldn't come anywhere near them. Oh, and coffee. The smell of coffee didn't bother me, but the few times I tried to drink it, the taste of it made me sick. And I was a heavy coffee drinker before I got pregnant. Toward the end of my pregnancy, I started tolerating it again for some reason, so I had my cup a day and was fine. :)

With my second baby, all I wanted to eat was fudgesicles. OMG...I had to have a fudgesicle every day or I became a raving lunatic. LOL That's about all I craved with him. oh, and watermelon with salt.

I were yearning stuff I usually devour, yet in strange mix. Like, pizza and chips and salsa. Or fried okra and a sandwich. My cravings have particularly toned down now that i'm contained in the 2d trimester, although.

Cheese whiz and gerkin sandwiches were my biggest craving and ice, lots and lots of ice. I HATE ice, I hate the sound of people crunching it, the feel on my teeth, but when I was pregnant I couldn't stop myself. I got up in the night to eat ice, I would have killed someone if they took the last ice cubes from the freezer, weird.

My thing was Entemann's cherry cheese danish and Domino's pizza. I never ate that stuff before and haven't eaten it since, but gosh, I wanted it EVERY day while I was pregnant. Thank God the craving stopped otherwise I would be as big as a house!!!
