I stopped taking Lamictal for my BP 2 about a month ago. I went through the initial withdrawls stages just fine, but last Thursday I got a headache. I still have the same headache.
I was in the ER yesterday for it, and they gave me 2 shots of morphine, and some painkillers. The doctor said it might be because I quit the Lamictal cold turkey. Is this possible even though I stopped the Lamictal so long ago??

You should go to the doctor that prescribed you the medication for a check up.

If BP stands for blood pressure then it's dangerous to stop medication. You should see the doc who prescribed it in the first place and let him/her know. General consensus is that once you start BP medication, you need to stay on it.

I have had maybe 3 headaches my entire life. I am blessed in this respect, as I have heard that they can be quite painful. I would see a doctor, pronto. Good luck...
