man by nature is unsatisfied in all conditions. so when we dont get solved our problem, we ask coz we can't wait or sometimes we can't spare time to find out the perfect solution, but still we need to confirm our solution by consulting someperson who may know the right answer.

Because we want information for some specific reason. Some questions are asked just to feel connected to the rest of the world. Some questions come because we are bored. Questions go through our minds most of the day, sometimes it just feels right to ask the one that has just popped to the front of our brain.

In order to get answers or in the case that person know the answer, may be he has a mission to put an idea in people's mind in that topic he asked.

i ask questions to expand my way of thinking. i consider myself an open minded person, but most of the time, i only look one way based on my beliefs. i try not to judge people, so i like to ask so that i may get a different viewpoint. so that i can try to understand others the way i would appreciate them understanding me.

I always thought we asked questions because of an on going (sometimes invisible) desire to aquire knowledge

simple because there are things that confuses us, things that we dont really know and we ask questions to some things because we are curious.

because we want to know the answer to something we don't know or are curious about....or we're not sure so we ask someone else and if both answers match, it means its true...
