Steak and lots of it. Steak is only good on the grill just last night 16 oz ribeyes PERFECT! medium rare cant beat it. Barbecue pork chops for tonight. I love to Grill but not just in the summer nothing beats going out in the snow just to grill up a juicy steak.

I like to do vegetables. Here is my asparagus recipe:

Prep asparagus by snapping off ends, and scoring the stems. Microwave about 1 minute per pound on a plate with a tsp of water.

Transfer to plastic bag and marinate for at least 30 minutes with some soy sauce, flavored olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic salt.

Place on grill, turning frequently until tender.

Yep!

So far the favorites have been:

marinated shish kabobs (I marinate cubes of beef in a mixture of soy sauce, olive oil, crushed garlic, sliced ginger, and a pinch of sugar), then skewer with green peppers and onions and grill.

BBQ or Lemon Herb Chicken

Haiwaiin Burgers (I mix crushed pineapple, teriyaki, green onion, and garlic in with the ground beef)

Bratwaurst (I par-boil first so they cook faster on the grill)

and this week I'm going to roast a chicken on the grill.

Mmmm!

My family has found that marinating chicken in Italian dressing over night and then cooking it on the grill is very delicious. Even the children like it.

According to my husband, grilling is a year round sport. He grills spring, summer, fall, winter. He did our Thanksgiving turkey once...yum! We do lots of chicken, veggies like peppers, squash, and zucchini in a grill pan, potatoes, asparagus, and mushrooms in foil packets, and skewers...with all of these things, plus shrimp. We also put fresh pineapple on the grill and garlic/parmesan toast. I'll stop there...hope I've helped.
