I wore ballet slippers! They were so cute and sooo comfy. The only thing was that no one told me that with new dance shoes, the glue leaks out the first time you wear them. So, if you do ballet slippers, break them in first!

I wore a medium heel for most of the day. I also had satin white ballet slippers to wear at the reception, for when my feet were tired. I didn't want to wear them all day because I'm already quite short, but I was glad to have them for a break!

For the actual wedding ceremony, I wore barefoot sandals since we got married on the beach. My sister, the MOH, had a matching pair. The comfort of bare feet with some sparkle! For the reception and walking around not on the beach, I wore a beautiful pair of white beaded mules. They were very pretty, but not that comfortable. Later on, I wore a pair of sequened flip flops. Lots of shoes for a barefoot wedding!!!

I wore white lacy and spike bridle boots. Boy were they uncomfortable!! My wedding dress was tailored to upside down V up the middle to my knees, I thought it was a great idea at the time, and yes, it did look good. But come time for the reception and I was peeling those babies off and wore white booties with the little white puffy balls on the heel...

I wore silver slides. They were embellished with sequins and beads. They had a small point at the toe and no straps. But that was only for the ceremony. I wore white converses for my reception. Then I had the wedding party sign them afterward. I still have them. Packed away and stored with my dress.

I wore simple, yet elegant white shoes with a strap. I wanted to get shoes that I could re-wear again. I still wear the white shoes to church, work all the time and get tons of compliments on them. Noone knows they are the shoes I wore on my wedding day!

I wore a pair of comfortable sandals that I've had for a long time. I have problems with my feet.
My ex-husband's new wife went bare-footed at their wedding. Talk about comfort!! I say good for her. Gotta be comfortable.

I bought the perfect pair of shoes because they matched my dress so beautifully. Then they arrived and I wore them to my dress fitting - and my feet ached just standing in them for the fitting!
So I went out and bought a second pair of shoes, just simple pumps that could be died ivory to match my dress, because I decided comfort was far better than style.

I wore white sating pumps with a very low heel and a beautiful silver beaded clip, very inexpensive and they looked great. I wore them all day.
