There are three main ways to remove software.

1. The program itself provides an uninstall
2. In Control Panel use Add/Remove Programs.
3. A third party program uninstaller.

I like Clean Sweep available from Symantec, if you need to use option 3. Try all options, if they are available. If all three do not do the trick, try again, but reboot first and start in Safe Mode and try uninstalling. As your computer boots press the function key F8 and choose Safe Mode. Pressing the F8 key is a timing thing you may have to try it a few times to get the menu.

If all else fails, try doing a System Restore. See the link below. It is like an UNDO for your whole computer. Restore back to a date before the program was installed.
