If a man pays minimal attention to a woman it usually means he has a wider field of women to choose from and therefore is in high demand. The mind subconsciously assumes that there is a legitimate reason for this high demand and causes a higher level of attraction. A man that says he misses a woman is a man that is emotionally dependent on her and is lower status than a man that doesn't.
The reverse is also true. Women that are emotionally dependent on men, or "clingy", are less attractive than strong, independent women.

lol well first of all that is not ALL women, just some. I for one do not pull away i like them more! So, all women are diffrent remember that. And the women that do do that...they are scared it is moving to fast or there going to get hurt if they give in to the same feelings you have for them..most these games are played with younger women..older however find the more emotional and genuine side to it.

Well I don't know why women do that I don't do that to my husband, I jump his bones..lol...some girls might not know how to express their feelings when a man tells them they miss them or they love them....
Trying bringing home a rose and give it to that special someone and give it too her and tell her that you love her very much. maybe she will open up to you when you tell her you miss her or it could be she is really not in love with you. I would hope not.

Well first of all, not all girls are like that. But as for the ones who ARE, I'd think it must be an "always wantswhat she can't have" situation.
