I remember the first rhyming slang I ever heard, I had no idea what the guy meant, he said "deep-sea diver" meaning a five-dollar bill (fiver).

Although come to think my dad had said "I don't want to hear one dicky bird out of you" before that--only now reading the other person's list did I realize it was rhyming slang. (We all cracked up and got in trouble for not going to sleep.)

I'm just orf dahn the frog and toad, to the old rub-a-dub for a bit of a Tod Carty with me chinas. Me dogs are barking something Dot Cotton so's when I gets there I'll grab a tony, slip orf me church pews and rub me aching plates of meat. Then I'll settle down for a few Uri Gellas and me and me Gareth Gates'll get totally brahms.

i'm from Buffalo, manhattan. the only stable ones i will think of of incorporate "what's the damages" whilst asking how plenty a invoice got here to, skeeved out/ or to be skeevy for that weird and wonderful previous guy that winks at you as you walk down the line, even once you're bumming out. "Chest up" is like guy up, take duty, "get to long previous " is a super one lol. Oh, in case you point out somebody and the different person has no concept who that person is, each so often they're going to say "Joe Blow? the place does he tend bar?"
