The problem is so many people view animals and insects as lesser. They believe that these little lives don't matter just because they can not communicate with them. For me respecting all life is part of my spirituality so I understand why this question is here. Thanks for trying to make people think.

That makes absolutely no sense at all. Thinking about them how? What the heck would it have to do with religion?

Depends. What exactly do you mean, "thinking about" them? Compassion, for example, has religous contexts, but one doesn't necessarily need to be religous to be compassionate.

If compassion is what you mean by thinking...
