Its been six months since my daughter was born. And yet I still have occasions where I feel a "roll", "flutter" or even a small "kick". Is something wrong with me? I'm not pregnant. Why does that happen?

it could just be your muscles and uterine walls adjusting to your bodily changes of going back to a non-pregnant shape - i.e. losing weight and your muscles contracting back to a flatter shape - as your body went through tremendous changes during your pregnancy, it takes a long time for those changes to move you back to a non-pregnant body.

Hi sweetie,
No it is not weird. Your uterus is contracting & will continue to do this for a while. Also, if you breast feed you may feel this. You must remember, you just had a very large "item" removed from your abdomen. Your insides take a while to situate everything back into their proper place. Also, if you breast feed. When you breast feed you will be able to feel your uterus contract & such. That is very normal. Breast feeding will help you loose the babybulg even quicker! All kinds of wonderful hormones & stimulous goes on when a woman breast feeds.
If for any reason the vaginal discharge color changes to bright red or you notice a change or an odor. Please contact your Dr's office. Chances are things are fine for you, but you can never be too careful. Take care of yourself. You want to be around & healthy for a good long time to take care of your new baby. Congratulations! You are in store for the roughest job of your life, it can be the most rewarding thing you will ever do & also the hardest job you will ever have. but the end is so worth every pain, stress, & tear!

Not Weird at all.. I have a 2 year old and I still feel the odd flutter... I was always worried about that too after I had my daughter..I kept thinking I was pregnant or that something was wrong..I felt nuts at one point, then I asked a few other moms and said they felt it too...So don't be worried you will be fine. Congratulations on your baby girl...and being a mom!!! Good luck

after i had my first baby, i thought i was crazy cuz i would swear i'd feel movement...those little flutters...or kicks...i still feel them after 4 years...i think what it is, is that during pregnancy, we're a lot more in tune with our body. we realize that there's more to us than just a body.

i don't think there's anything wrong with you, you're a new mother and more in tuned with ALL of you. i was also told that we can now feel our digestion process too. hope this helped.

I think your body is readjusting to being normal. It could also be a mental thing because you just finished carrying a baby for so long.

You might just be more sensitive to your bowel movements. That's the only thing moving around in there.
