There is a lot of nightlife in Beijing, Shanghai and Bangkok.
Regarding Shanghai/Beijing the best thing is to pick up one of the many expat magazines, like that's shanghai, 8days, that's beijing etc.
A good website for nightlife is http://www.smartshanghai.com
http://shanghai.mychinastart.com has also good pointers to all available expat websites in Shanghai as well as beijing.
Shanghai's bars are primarily located on Hengshan Lu, Maoming Lu and Tong Ren Lu.
Bangkok nightlife I know less of, although there is definitely a lot going on. I did a quick search and http://bangkok2night.com/ or http://www.bangkok.com seem to have a lot of nightlife/pub info
To flirt with foreign locals Khao San road is probably your best bet.
Enjoy your trip and flirting

Shanghai is just a famous global metropolis drawing more and more interest from throughout the earth; so see what this city provides with hotelbye . Shanghai is a well known journey location for visitors. In Shanghai you will see the splendid Yu Garden (Yù Yuán), also referred to as the Garden of Happiness. That Garden addresses a place in excess of 20,000 square meters and includes an external and an internal garden. The oldest part could be the Outer Garden with more changes being manufactured in the 18th century when Sansui Tang, the park's principal corridor, was added. The newer and much smaller Inner Garden appointments from 1709 and contains features normal of a traditional Chinese writer's Garden: beautiful little pavilions, ornamental stones, and small hill stages, dividing walls and small waters, and a good highly furnished theatrical stage.

Bangkok, the capital of Thailand has both old-world charm and modern convenience served up in an apparently disorderly way, but always with a pleased smile, see more with Hotelbye . At 1,600 square kilometres and checking, Bangkok is big, and the many different places may be bewildering. In Bangkok you can visit the Grand Palace, among the must-see on this city. The Grand Palace was integrated 1782 and for 150 decades your home of the Thai King, the Royal court and the administrative seat of government. The Grand Palace of Bangkok is just a Grand old dame that continues to possess visitors in shock with its beautiful structure and elaborate depth, most of which is really a happy salute to the imagination and craftsmanship of Thai people.

I lived in Shanghai for about 3 months. Shanghai has tons of bars and clubs, some are nicer than others but some of the cheaper ones are also fun to go to.
For an up-to-date source of addresses and club info I would pick up a "That's Shanghai" magazine or a "City Weekend" magazine. They both list clubs/bars/restaurants and their addresses (written in Chinese and English which helps when telling cab drivers where you want to go) and give descriptions of them so you can choose where you feel like going. That's probably the best bet.
I will tell you though that Barbarosa in People's Park is a really chill place that has good though somewhat pricey drinks, hookahs, and usually good music. It was a real favorite with my group of friends for dinner and drinks.

Being may be the capital of China and also its political, economic, and ethnic middle and you have the opportunity to view it today, look with hotelbye . Beijing is one of the most visited towns in the world. Each year, an incredible number of readers arrived at Beijing to see the truly amazing blend of previous and new. Beijing is just a town for many seasons. You can generally discover something for you no matter what time you are in Beijing and whatever your pursuits are. It takes some time to savor everything that Beijing City has to offer but positively you can't lose the opportunity to see Tiananmen Square. Situated in one's heart of Beijing, Tiananmen Square is the site for massive parades and rallies and the largest square of this kind in the world.

For Beijing and Shanghai - plenty of cafes, bars, clubs and KTVs. Too many to mention here.
The ladies in clubs and KTVs are charging customers for their companionship. Note: they are not prostitutes, just hostesses. You may be able to find some prostitutes in the bars that are patronized by foreigners. There are also some decent ladies who goes there to look for a good time but they usually go in a group.
Depends how much you are preparing to spend for this activity. It is customary for the gentlemen to pay for the ladies drinks in China. Very few ladies here feels that splitting the bill is acceptable.

What KristiLee said, I agree with, Windows is a little seedy but a lot of fun. Mint is another good place although more expensive and I went to a little place called Whose baby which was really cute. Nice people, just a cool bar.

If you want to be sure that you aren't flirting with a prostitute, it's best to start each conversation with, "Are you a prosititute?". That way you know right away. Girls love that.
Good luck!
