No, but you obviously are looking forward to becoming a genetically modified zombie who might do everything that the geneticists / politicians decide.
You must be really naive if you think the genetic modification is all about curing human diseases/disabilities or getting better crop yields etc - it is nothing more than trying to manipulate nature and control food production and even possibly designing humans to be whatever the politicians or scientists of the day decide they want.
