Yes, do take her to the doctor, if for no other reason to confirm or dispell what you suspect. If the doctor does say is was the sausage, I think it would be a reasonable expectation for the daycare center to pay for the doctor's visit. Another issue is that a child that age doesn't have the teeth to chew/grind the sausages and is then at risk of choking. Hot dogs are the leading cause of toddlers choking to death. Vienna sausages could do the same for an infant. Remind your daycare center director that this would be a sure fire cause for a wrongful death lawsuit. You are the mom, you are the consumer of their services. Either they work with you about feeding etc. or you need to find another provider for the safety of your child. If you have any concerns about the training of the childcare workers, you might consider filing a report with the state agency that oversees their license. This is a really serious breach.

Ingredients
- 2 cans HORMEL® Vienna Sausages (5 oz.)
- 1 cup coarse bread crumbs or cornflakes
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 cup canned tomatoes, sieved
- 1 small green pepper, chopped
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 6 ripe olives, chopped

HORMEL® Vienna Sausage with Rice
Servings: 4
Directions
Leave Vienna Sausage whole or cut in half. Combine remaining ingredients; mix lightly. Spread 1/2 rice mixture into greased casserole; spread sausages on rice. Add rice to fill casserole; top wtih remaining sausages and top with butter. Bake in moderate oven (350°F) 25 minutes.

Rice would do, but honestly it is not good for you to eat that. My son use to love them and when I realized what is was,I HAD to stop my little do-do but from eating it.
