The great double standard. FYI - a lot of guys who sleep with 20 girls are no longer heralded as a pimp any longer, they are viewed as irresponsible by some. Girls who sleep with 20 guys are still considered sl*ts though.

because it's easy for a girl to sleep with a lot of guys, with men, we usually have to put in some work to get laid, so the guys who are successful with that are considered skillful, and the girls who sleep with a lot of guys are considered hoes because they don't have the ability to get a guy to commit to them. (which is a girl's main objective in dating).

Unfortunate double standard, I'm afraid. It's okay for a guy to do it, but not for a girl. Eventually you get to a point where it doesn't really matter how many people you've slept with. Like..past college.

neither women or men should sleep with 20 people. that is just gross. both would be hoes in my book. but to answer your question, it all has to do with gender specifics and they way we were raised culturally in our society as women and men.
