Yes, once the supporting root and perhaps even the bone supporting the tooth rots away, the tooth will become loose and it will fall out.

It depends on what you mean by rotten. If it has a cavity (hole) its unlikely to just fall out, unless an infection has established itself within the tooth pulp. Infections can be painless if there is a way for the infection to drain out but it can weaken the supporting structures which hold in the tooth (ligaments and bone) then loosen and then fall out but this wont happen overnight. Best thing to do is go and see your dentist and get professional treatment/advice.

In the meantime brush your teeth twice a day for 2 minutes with a fluoride toothpaste and floss at least once a day. Don't worry if you see bleeding, your not doing anything wrong, bleeding is a sign of infection and the bleeding shows that you are brushing away the bacteria which caused the tooth to become rotten in the first place. A mouthwash is also beneficial Corsadyl is a good one for gum infections but don't use it for long periods of time as it encourages tannin from tea and red wine to stain your teeth.

Yes. In order for it to just fall out however, the gums around the tooth would have to be very receeded,or pulled back. If you have a rotten tooth the best thing to so would be to see a dentist, you could end up with an infection in that area of your mouth or even asepsis, a blood infection from delaying getting treatment of an infected tooth.

No, a tooth cannot fall out if it is rotton. What it can do is break at the gum line & the you'll have the other half left underneath. Not very comfortable

I would think if a tooth surface rotted, the root would still be under the gum and need to be removed at some point to avoid infection.

I think that you should take the chew toys out of its pen, and call a 24-hour vet's office. I've never had a guinea pig, but that does not happen in the wild. Guinea pigs are domesticated animals, like dogs and cats.
