How long is he missing? If it's only a day, give him time, he'll come home. Cats disappear from time to time. I had one disappear for 3 months. When she came home she had kittens in her mouth.
Keep looking and hoping for the best. Things may turn out ok after all.

How long has he been gone? Is he an outdoor Cat normally? how long has he been missing? is he newtured (I can't spell today)? If he is a outdoor cat, do you call him in, or does he just come in...
If he is a normal outdoor cat I'd say to keep his favorite food outside and try calling him when he would normally come in if you normally call him by some means. Start putting his picture around the local hummane and animal control places, and the local vet offices. If he hasn't been fixed then he may be trapped in a female's place, because I have a friends cat that has gotten trapped in someone's garage because he thought a female cat was in there and was gone for a week...
If he is a normal indoor cat, try to leave whatever his favorite food is in a place you can monitor but not be afraid critters gettint in to (raccons, other stray cats, etc.)... Make sure he isn't in a place around your house that he was trying to get back in to and just got stuck... I've heard of that happening...
I hope that you find him, but I can't think of anything else to do but just keep an eye out for him and hope...
There are also a couple of internet lost pet pages that you could put is picture on and hopefully someone will find him...

Constantly check nearby animal control/humane society hotlines daily to make sure your cat was not picked up by someone & turned in.
You could post flyers with a photo, and your information with a small reward? That's always a good idea. Generally I'd say give it time, but being in Arizona where it gets pretty warm, I'd begin your search. First start with calling local shelters & going down there to see what cats they've brought in if any cats (on their phone hotlines) match description of your cat. Call them personally and inquire as well. Leave some flyers in your neighborhood, maybe someone has seen your cat.
Good luck, T

Print fliers up with a pic and put everywhere in your neighborhood. Keep in mind that a lot of cats go missing at this time of year because they're in "season" if female; or they sense other cats in season if they're male. They can be gone for weeks at a time, and will still return home when ready. Good Luck! (a prayer always helps too!)

If you have any pictures of him you could make some posters with your phone number, and the picture. Or place an add in the paper for your lost cat.

Post a picture w/all your info in the local supermarket and on telephone poles. Also your local pet stores. Check the ASPCA, maybe someone turned him in. Good luck

Talk to your neighbors and put up many flyers with pictures.
Call the local animal control and rescues, you can place an ad in the paper too.
Good luck!

Have u tried posting up posters, like on telephone poles? If that doesn't help, put ads in the newspaper. Good luck to you!

Call your local animal control center. Often, they have found your cat as a stray.
