When you ask a question on Yahoo, why do some not answer the question, but give you an email, to email them. Do they just want to give you a private answer, or what? I have never had this, and I just want to make sure it is on the up and up. Anybody else have this occur with their questions? did you email them?

Multiple motives, mostly bad. You can respond through yahoo questions and answers without your e-mail address. Then you will get closer to the truth on the individual when they either respond or don't respond. What we are doing now should be enough rather than going private.

Don't give out your email address to anyone you do not know. If they want to contact you they should go through Yahoo answers. You must set it up on your profile

Nah, ignore them. F--kin trolls who only respond to female Avatars. If you know their handles, click on their Avatars and look at their question and answer history-- it's the best way to gauge motives.
