wing feathers are the only ones to clip and they do grow back. You have to know how to do it though, I would not let a kid at Petsmart do it...if they cut it wrong, the bird could bleed to death...go to a vet and ask for teaching on the subject.

Yes they will. Unless you trim the blood feathers, which isn't too fun for the bird. You'll know if you cut one of those cause they kinda bleed.....
It takes any where between a month to a month and a half for them to grow back, atleast thats how much it was for my budgies. Clipping feathers isn't necassary unless the bird comes out of his cage and isn't trained to stay put.
You don't have to go somewhere everytime you do trim your bird's feathers. Have a professional show you how to trim them neatly the first time. You can do it yourself after that. Trimming them evenly is very important. Otherwise it throws off their balance; and do not only trim one wing.
The site I listed is very helpful. :)

Is it available that she basically molted formerly you clipped her wings? Or, perchance she basically grows feathers slower. If she's performing nice, i does not be worried except she does not molt for yet another 6 months or some thing. As for the tail feathers falling out, available reasons: somebody is pulling them out once you're no longer looking; they are having night frights and thrashing around interior the cage and that they are falling out or getting broken then; mites; constipation; sexually mature and desirous to mate; intense levels of rigidity; adverse eating recurring; a feather affliction yet i could think of it may consequence extra advantageous than the tail yet i do no longer in all probability comprehend for particular. Your maximum suitable wager is to touch a vet in case you like an precise answer. sturdy success

Yes but be careful not to clip their blood feathers but even if you do you can put flour on the spot your coctails bleeding and it will stop just like a bandage. Trust me on this i've been keeping 2 birds for 1 year.

Yes, eventually they will. I know this because I used to have two cockatiels and their feathers eventually grew back after I clipped them.

Yes, but if the blood feathers were clipped, then they won't grow back. It's most likely their flight feathers were clipped and they do grow back.

you can clip the wings yourself with a pair of scissors, are you wanting to clip them for training purposes? if not you really do need to leave the bird fully flighted & be responsible enough to mind the doors & windows. The wings will grow back during his next molt in 3-6 months

Yes, but this has to be done correctly. If you've never done it, have someone experienced show you how. If you clip a blood feather and aren't prepared the bird could bleed to death.

Yes in about 6-8 weeks after being clipped they will be able to fly, so if you are taking your guy outside please stay on top of having him clipped. Only an experienced bird handler should clip your bird, this can be life threatening if done improperly.
