My husband wants to go to Outback and I love eating there but I'm on a diet & I am trying to figure out what the best meal would be. Any suggestions?

Well, you would certainly avoid all of the appetizers - especially the Bloomin' Onion. They are chock full of calories and fat.

You could get a chicken breast instead of a steak, oil + vinegar dressing on the salad vs. something like honey mustard, and steamed vegetables in place of a potato or rice. Those would all be healthier choices.

Your waitperson should be able to help you as well.
Good luck!

Bloomin' Onion, baked potato with excessive toppings, lots of fries, extra grease. This makes the salt stick better; Ribeye with lots of fat hanging off it; salad with real bacon bits and lots of blue cheese dressing and for desert, four helpings of cheese cake with a scoop of diet ice cream.

If you are going out to eat, provided you are not doing it all the time, leave the diet at home and enjoy. Not allowing yourself any leaway is a sure way to tank a diet.

Eat grilled chicken with steamed veggies, and a baked potato with light butter. Eat the skin.
