"The jerk vibe" is natural with us guys all the time. (There are rare exceptions) It's a mentality of wanting to be in control and have the fun we want to have first, before all others. You can either let every moment pass by with passive aggressiveness, or deal with every instance with self confidence, sternness, and sensitivity. Emphasis on self confidence. Your wants and needs are equally important. If he doesn't respond to your concerns about things that matter to you, (and visa versa) then you should find someone else. With all that said, you must communicate and build bridges together.

Jerk Vibe? I think you should have noticed that before becoming his girlfriend. But yes, I would tell him if I were you because you wouldn't want to constantly notice that about him right?

Be nice about it, sometimes when a guy is distracted (especially say on the phone or by other thoughts) he may come off as cold and distant. I think a "hey where were you just now" may help.

don't go "You are being a jerk to me" but you can say "honey it feels like you aren't really listening to me or like you don't really care about what I'm saying, is something wrong?"

9 times out of 10 there may be something else effecting him. Definately ask what's wrong but make sure to seem compassionate.
Always communicate!
Hope this helps
