I wear contact lenses and its scary to think that you might get fungus in your eyes, has anyone heard of this it also comes out in a TV commercial for a famous laywer in Houston?

I work for an optometrist and have been told to pull all of the RE-NU with "moisture Lock" from our shelves and not to give it to our patients until further notice.We chose to pull all of our RENU products just to be safe. The fungus is called "Fusariuim Keratitis" and can cause blindness if goes untreated. The CDC has yet to find the cause of this infection as of yet. I believe it had been taken off the market indefinitely. Honestly most of these solutions are pretty much the same (for soft contact lenses) you best bet for the $ is the Wal-Mart brand. (They really are all the same.)

Yes! wwhen i got some new contacts a couple months ago the gave some of the Renu with moistoer lock . I wear extented wear and can usually wear them for a month but after onloy a few days they were messed up same with the next pair then I saw the comm...I had the phone number and I lost it I need a lawyer in Everett or Seattle Washington hope it goes well for us good luck

Yes, I remember. It was a certain formula of Renu. It has already been pulled from the shelves.

Yes- and since I've been a customer of theirs for so long they sent me a coupon for two 12-oz. free bottles of RENU. (It was the brand that was safe)

yes just dont use the moisture loc kind. thats the kind that causes the fungus
