maybe just maybe they were the only two people that realized that they would be no good for each other and decided to do the right thing and not be together you go to think of the postive in situaitons like this one. but see look i know it's hard on you cause you are missing a parent but hey at least you only have one person nagging at you. maybe something worse would have happen if they did get together. or maybe they would have gotten together and then realize that they couldnt really stand each other and then eventually seperate and that would have been more painful to watch then just missing the one. think about it.

Could be they realized the future was not looking good for them and they had too little in common to build on. Because a couple has sex does not mean they were meant for each other. The heat of the moment causes many mistakes but remember God made you they were only the vessels the package came in. You are no mistake and someone with more smarts that us set them in different directions. Hope things worked out ok for you.

Just like the previous answer you should check with your parents. Sometimes people feel they are "in love" and proceed right to sex. Then they discover it was only "lust". Perhaps they just did not click. Hopefully you still get to see both parents. It maybe they are better off apart. The best advice is to have a mature discussion with them. Try to avoid being emotional and making the issue about you. You may not like the answer but it will give you some closure. Best wishes.

It was a mess when I was born because I was the result of an affair.My dad was my moms sister boyfriend at the time.It was a few times after I was born but too much drama to have a relationship at the time.They still remain GOOD friends.

I am sure they have their own reasons and they are not together maybe because they choose not to be.
But if you really want to know than you should sit with both and than ask them this question you will get your answer!

You need to ask each one of them [you may get two entirely different answers], and when you ask them, let them know that their answer is important to you; that you re not just curious, but seriously want an answer.

maybe something bad might of happened to them in the past and they never were able to get along in life. if they are still alive y you should ask them
