some people just don't deserve to live. You must take that guy to the zoo, leave him in the APES cage...maybe they accept him there. you take care of yourself, go to the doctor again. this world is really going mad ...good luck for your eye. I'd be glad to go to that guy's (and all of his kind) funeral. GoOd LuCk FoR yOu!!! ;-)

I would definitely go back to the ER or even your PCP. I knew someone who got popped in the eye and it took a while for them to find that his eye socket was broken. He ended up having corrective surgery because the way the eye socket was broken . . if he didn't have it done, the doctors told him that his eye would shift. . down - meaning that they eye socket couldn't sustain the eye ball anymore and the eye would travel and rest where ever it ended up. I am glad he had the surgery. Looks like nothing happened today.
Better be safe than sorry. Go have it looked at again. And NEVER go back to that CREEP.

No one should be punching the eye much less any other place. You guys are adults aren't you and that is against the law beside just being plain stupid. You eye area could be sore for a long time, a bruised bone takes a while to heal and yes, you should have a doctor look it it. Make sure your eye sight is good and not harmed and send me the address of this jerk ex and I will take care of him for you.

Yes, of course you should go get it checked. Go to an eye Dr. too to make sure that your vision wasn't effected long range.
Filing a report w/ the police and seeking counsel from your local Domestic Abuse office is also highly encouraged.
Nobody should be beating you for any reason.

As long as yoy are not having dizzy spells or blurred vision you should be ok. The punch probably caused some deep tissue damage or micro fractures which would account for taking so long to heal. Neither is very serious and it should heal on its own in time. On a personal, note you should really stay away from jerks that are going to beat you up.

Well since you are a girl (or at least thats the way it seems) Im glad hes an ex and hopefully for you sake he stays that way. I would go to the doctor just for a check up. I would think that it would still be sore.

First of all, no one "deserves" to be hit by their partner regardless of the circumstances.
If you feel that there is something to worry about (which you obviously do or you wouldn't be asking) then go to see someone. I would suggest you go to a doctor rather than the emergency/hospital due to cost though.

sounds like you get abused a lot, did you kick his ***? My grandfather use to tell me never hit a man unless you want to get hit like a man but if that man hits you grab anything you can find and wear it out on his ***!! Then get the hell out before he gets up! Just ask my 1st husband I wore his *** out with a ring-o-mop,it was metal!! But yes you need to go see a Dr. and let them know that your still experiencing discomfort and pain in your eye then you need to get down to the police station a file charges on that bastard,he can't just go around hitting people he'll only get more violent as he gets older and the more he's allowed to get away with it!

I hope you pressed charges and photograph the extent of the damage and how long it is taking to clear. Probably no need to get further x-rays as you probably can't learn anything useful (at best it'll probably tell you you *had* a broken bone which is now healing) and x-rays are harmful.
