Common thing kiddo......Same age here, so I can relate... We overindulged (or underindulged) back in the day and now we kinda want some sort of reassurance that we are on the right path......I say, if you have your health and some people love you, what else matters.......Smile and have a scooby snack, eh

Its a hybrid factor, partly in the mindset and partly due to current times. We live in an age where every individual yearns to carve a niche for themselves, this so called way of life has ruled out human values, its the survival of the fittest ,right from cradle to grave! Everyone wants their share of '15 min fame' and do so by hook or by crook, due to this there is a high disregard to one's relationships .Its all a by product of the dizzying 'progress' that the world is making..........something the superpowers of the world miscalculated!
But you can overcome this, its again all in the mind! Be proactive and go on sticking by the people you love ,keep on making steady strides via hardwork in yr career ,think only of one thing: people should remember you for who you naturally were, don't try to emulate anyone except yr parents cuz they will let you down at some point ........just strive till death to be good human being .You never know when a trivial good deed will help you relinquish deppression,so keep a journal recording all,I mean ALL your good deeds of the day, then sit back and read.....trust me you will feel warmth creeping up on you,its a tested remedy for Schizophrenics and cancer patients! Live for yr parents/your family always.
and then of course, don't try to control your future, thats were all problems arise from, leave it at the hands of an entity called GOD!!
So, keep your head up and shine through the day, you will definately be a champ this way!!

I'm 36 and have been dealing with this since I was 34. One week before my 35th birthday I freaked out. I thought about investing in a time machine, but they are too expensive and don't exist.

I do not think it is too early...I think people in general experience some type of crisis..or just ponder what they want to do in their lives and whether what they are currently do is worthwhile. 35 is an age where you are young enough, but also mature enough to change. I wish you luck whatever you decide.
I, myself, am in my late 20's and generally people my age are supposed to know what direction they are in career-wise. I am trying to figure it out myself and it's tough...I think it is more stressful times.

Modern society forces us to question everything. MTV teaches us to never be satisfied until we are able to do whatever we want, whenever we want. It's not a feasible ideal, but it's also difficult to overcome. I'm 25, and going through the same stuff. I know a lot of people my age who are going through it as well. We need to learn to stop questioning everything and start making reasonable commitments to ourselves and those we care about.

I think its just stressful times. Lots of pressure to move faster, do more, get more...
I think its related to the road rage and everything else like that.
