You don't have to be the best looking guy, but you need to have a positive attitude. Go out with a good friend for some drinks and see who you meet. You need to put yourself out there and see what happens. People are not going to just show up at your door step.

Its ok, but first of all you seem to have low self esteem when you say that your not the best looking guy, even if its true you need to be confident in who you are, thats what trracts people, I havea guy friend who is also not god looking but he got himself the hottest girl because how he carried himself, with confidence, but dont confuse it with *********. Thers is laways room for self improvement, get a makeover, that helps anyone with self esteem, and if you get rejected, dust it off and keep goibg, maybe that girl wasnt going to value you for who you really are. so keep your head up.

Well, first off, you aren't ugly. Confidence attracts women. Also, get involved in some fun activities. Go to the beach, water parks, local festivals etc.
