Because they feel that if they can beat Christians with arguments their position (atheism) would be true. What they need to remember is that an argument can be valid but untrue.
Ultimately, they want to argue God out of existence because deep down inside they know He exists because, they too, are created in God's image.

Before I say anything else, I'm a Christian BUT, I see a lot of Christians arguing with Atheists as well. People are so judgmental of others beliefs and just argue which obviously doesn't get people anywhere. A true Christian would simply tell them about the Lord if the chance is provided and continue not to judge the individual. But I'm not sure how many true Christians are actually out there.

For the same reasons that Christians argue with Athiests about everything. We all have free will and the right to believe in whatever we want. AND the ability to express that belief.

For the same reasons Christians argue. Everyone wants to be "right" instead of just being heard.

The same goes for the opposite. Why do Christians argue with atheists about everything? It's the nature of humanity. Someone doesn't share our views, we try to beat them into their brains until they submit and follow my views. It's barbarian. But hey, it's the nature of man.

The problem with Christianity is that they just tell you to believe what we're telling you, and shut up and don't ask any questions.
There's no discussion. It's all there in one black book. Every other religion is wrong. If you don't like it, we'll send the crusades or the inquisition after you and kill you unless you convert. What a lovely peaceful religion....wha ha ha ha!

Do you remember how christianity was implied?
Do you remember how and what christianity was doing to the ones who were not acting, claiming and following christianity?
Hundreds of millions were exterminated, by christians, to the name of christ, and the questions is why some argue?

We're trying to educate them. We want this mass insanity to go away, and stop poisoning our culture, and holding back the progress of the human race. It's not anger or resentment, or curiosity. We simply know the truth. Yes, we KNOW the truth. And we can prove it. We're simply trying to get the Christians, Muslims, Jews, etc, to wake up and enter the 21st century.

IMO, They feel so strongly about being the "driver" of their own life they just can't seem to admit that there is a supierer being that has more CONTROL over things than them. They have to see to believe. When faith is all about believing to see and understand.
My favorite verse....
Fix not your eyes on what is seen, but what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, and what is unseen is forever.

First off, we don't like people that can't spell atheists. Second why do Christians argue with us. There really is no argument, there is no god. Give it up.
