God is an infinite all-powerful being who created the world. He is also a Just Judge, and must punish sin, but he also loves you and wants to have a personal relationship with each one of us. He is a trinity, meaning that he has three distinct personalities, The Father the son and the Holy Spirit. Go rent the movie "Dogma." It's funny as heck and might help answer your question. "God" appears in the last five minutes of the film, and made ME laugh.

God is Jesus's father and your father also. He is the one who created heavan and earth. When you die hopefully you will go to heavan and live there for eternity. And dont listen to that other guy that says God is a jerk because when Jesus comes back he will have to answer for that and he will probably spend his eternity in Hell.
