What do you usually do to celebrate, if you do?

Happy Solstice to you too! I won't be holding my celebration until after I get out of work as that's the only time that works for me. I'll be casting aside my problems, sorrow, illnesses, etc. by fire. Once purged, I'll make sure I catch the last rays of the sun for purification and renewal. Then I'll probably end my day dancing until I can't dance anymore. What better way to celebrate? =)

Blessed be. Nice avatar.
I did two ceremonies for the solstice. One having to do with the 8 aspects of the sun (sunrise/set midwinter, sunrise/set midsummer and sunrise/set x2 for equinoxes) where I assigned a Mesoamerican god or goddess to each aspect and every person in the ritual got to choose a god/dess. We also had an open discussion about precession and 2012. That was my private ritual on Saturday.
On Monday for my public ritual I did one with the four-part solar mind which had four mini-meditations as part of it, one for each quadrant of the mind.

Thanks luv! I'm acknowledging today, but it's my birthday so I have to humor the family and it's a work day. Our group is having a ritual tomorrow and we're having a festival this weekend! Blessings this longest day!
