YES AND I LOVE HIM MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE IN THE WORLD!! When you finally ask Jesus in your heart there is such a peace over you. Finally you have found somebody who loved you so much that he died on the cross for you and everytime you mess up he is waiting for you to ask for forgiveness with his arms open for you. Anyone that comes to Jesus he will not cast out. I heard that last night at the revival at my church and it is so true. He will never turn you down if you run to him!!

Jesus became my Lord and Savior the day He saved my soul. He washed all my sins away, and made me a new person. He gave me the desire to be a witness for Him. Jesus put a new song in my heart. One who wants to serve Him. I no longer enjoy the sinful things i once done. I live my life apart from this world. I want the world to know that Jesus loves them, and Jesus saves. I put my Faith and Trust in Him.

I really do not get that. Its as if something one just says "personal savior".
I believe Jesus is my Lord and Savior, but I do not for one second believe Jesus is mine alone. If he was my "personal" savior, you could not have benefit of his mercy and love and neither could anyone else.
So no - not my personal savior - but My Savior as well as all those who love and embrace him.

The ancient world was rife with tales of virgin births, miracle-working saviors, tripartite gods, gods taking human form, gods arising from the dead, heavens and hells, and days of judgment. In addition to the myths, many of the ceremonies of ancient religions also match those of that syncretic latecomer, Christianity. To cite but one example (there are many others), consider Mithraism, a Persian religion predating Christianity by centuries. Mithra, the savior of the Mithraic religion and a god who took human form, was born of a virgin; he belonged to the holy trinity and was a link between heaven and Earth; and he ascended into heaven after his death. His followers believed in heaven and hell, looked forward to a day of judgment, and referred to Mithra as "the Light of the World." They also practiced baptism (for purification purposes) and ritual cannibalism—the eating of bread and the drinking of wine to symbolize the eating and drinking of the god’s body and blood. Given all this, Mithra’s birthday should come as no surprise: December 25th; this event was, of course, celebrated by Mithra’s followers at midnight.

Beth, sweetie, Jesus the savior is YOUR savior. That's cool. :-)
Jesus the teacher is one of my many teachers. That's just as cool, too.

DO YOU? I don't think he came to you and greeted you. If there was such a mighty being he would or should come right to you give you a big hug and tell you so. But that has and will never happen, because he not there!

Yes, I love Jesus.
You don't have to like me, but you will have to one day answer for your hate. Don't worry so much about what other "Christians" do, but meet Jesus for yourself.
