in my humble opinion..what beginner should use is the one that have less spin and more distance or 2-piece ball. The 2 piece ball is designated for player who are seeking much more straighter ball.Since the construction of the ball itself are design to put more power and less spin on it.It will reduce the drag and therefore increase the distance..Suggested that try to use a second hand ball first..then once u got better. buy a new one..it will save your money a lot..The 3 piece ball like Titleist Pro V1 ball are for player who can control the ball..This ball are designated for player who are like to bend the ball flight since they already are low handicapper or pro.The 3 piece ball will increase the spin and therefore will slightly reduce the distance but the control of the ball is very good. The outer layer of the ball is using the urethane for more soft feel and much more control. So the best ball for beginner is the 2 piece ball like Wilson ultra or titleist distance rather then 3 piece ball such as pro v1 or Nike Tour Accuracy TW

If you are a beginner it most likely wont matter which ball you use. Until you have the skills to actually put spin on a ball and control where you hit it I would just use a top flite or some other cheap ball. Odds are they will all end up in the water or some field anyways.

You should buy a golf balls that is no more that a dallor each. Any ball will work at this time. IF you keep on playing you will need to have all three kind of balls. I just you getting the Top Flight.

Titleist NXTs because they are a good combination of distance, accuracy , and spin. Also they are not the most expensive balls so if you lose them you can go buy new ones. Or if you never have played in your life use ur dad's old ones because they still work and if u lose them its no big deal.

At this point in your golfing career, use a two-piece ball for distance and durability. Until you get control of your ball flight, stick with cheaper balls that are not expensive to replace.

If you are a beginner, you should NOT use a high performance ball (over $35 a dozen). It will make your mishits go further offline and they will in fact go shorter than a cheaper ball, assuming your swing speed is less than 90 mph.

Buy Topflights. They are cheap and reasonable quality. As a beginner, you will lose the balls before you wear them out from playing a couple rounds with them. They are a 2-piece design made for casual golfers.

Hit the one that wears a smile. Save the round ball for putting!

The most inexpensive you can find. You will lose a lot of them and it can drain a lot of your cash. Also, until you get pretty good you really can't notice a difference in the balls you use.
