The answer is high calorie, good nutrition. Snack. Eat Three meals a day, and 3 snacks. Take the oportunity to eat enough protein and calcium, work on B vitamin intake. Choose higher calorie items. So, a banana instead of cantaloupe, 2% milk, not lowfat, yogurt with fruit, not plain. Pick an egg, meat a couple times a week instead of cereal. Add some jelly on whole wheat toast. Fruit smooties are great, same rules, add calories. Use an ensure like product for the base of the smoothie.
Lunch Cottage cheese with a heavy syrup canned fruit, a sandwich, put turkey on whole wheat, add a little mayo. Choose some healthy cookies, raisin oatmeal, peanut butter perhaps. A glass of milk with every meal. Try a main dish item for lunch instead of a sandwich[think blue plate special like you'd get in a diner. Same meal as supper, just smaller portions] lasagna and garlic bread, a breast of chicken with a potato and salad, meat loaf with mashed potatoes.chicken and dumplings.
Supper; choose a dressed potato instead of plain, like cheese potatoes, or mashed. Add sour cream, cheese, bacon to a baked potato. Add calories to a veggie like cheese sauce, hollandaise, make baked beans, green bean casserole. Add calories to meat: choose something with breading or a sauce, choose shepard's pie, or a casserole with rice or noodles. Choose a higher calorie meat, like a pork chop, instead of chicken. Put barbecue sauce on a pork steak.
Things not to do: skip the empty calorie salad with the diet dressing. It fills you up, not out. If you miss salad, add egg, cheese, nuts, seeds, higher calorie dressing. Just watch the fat content with that dressing. Don't skip breakfast, eat something!
Snacks. Choose a handful of nuts, healthy cookies, celery stuffed with peanut butter or the cheese in a jar [ Kraft makes a jar cheese that is flavored. It's by the velveeta and cheese whiz at the store]. A slice of angel food cake with lemon curd sauce, cocoa, make a small sandwich.Make a fruit salad. Drink a can of ensure, if you can't stand the taste, put some chocolate syrup in. Make a milkshake. Any thing with cream cheese in it or on it.
Find a cheese you like and pair it with a fruit and crackers.
Find creative ways to use peanut butter. On graham crackers, on an apple, on a Ritz. Ice cream, sherbet. sorbet. Popcorn with parmesan. I love kiddy cereal right out of the box, no milk on it . I choose a healthier one, not a sugary one.
And eat a snack near bedtime. Milk is a good choice, it makes you sleepy
Hope this helps.Good luck. One trick, when you buy foods from a can or a box, , check the recipe on the box or can, most of the time it has you add stuff that is almost always high cal. Or go to the website.
One more trick, but not to excess: alcohol is very high cal. Add a glass of wine, a glass of beer, or some fruit laden tropical drink once in awhile. And make sure you are over the driking age, or your parents will kill me.

Sure, why not! Why be bothered with caring, training, and loving an animal? When they loose that "new puppy smell" they are pretty much done! If you are serious, please don't get a puppy. You don't sound like you could commit to what you want for your dinner, let alone a puppy. Peace:)

It's hard lol, because all the weight will go to your stomach. Talk to your doctor. Oh, and doing crunches will tone your stomach and help keep the weight off, so that's something to look into if you end up eating more.
