You can try something like south beach diet. You will definitely lose weight. I once lost 8 pounds in a week. Most of it is water so you need to eat healthy and exercise to keep it off. Its not good to lose weight by crash diets.

Drink lots of water, run a lot. Eat well.
You will lose a good bit at the beginning... but:
Keep in mind that you may gain weight back after a few weeks, but will lose it again.

sit in a sauna for a really long time and you can loose like 10 pounds of water weight, but as soon as you drink anything it will come back
